Accepting resume's! Valley Lumber is looking to add a new member to our accounting team. The successful candidate should have book keeping and/or accounting experience. We are a growing, fast paced company and need skilled talent! This position will be responsible for the smooth operation of our accounts receivable functions, daily reconciliations, taking and posting payments and other accounting functions. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the accounting/book keeping field. Although we operate proprietary software the Accounts Receivable Specialist must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Quickbooks.
Duties may include:
Balancing cash drawers
Open, manage and maintain customer accounts
Month end processing
Customer calls
Daily reports
Processing payments
Managing and assisting other accounting personnel
