Pay is stipend of $3,278.25 for completion of season JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To apply candidate must have or be willing to obtain Alaska Coaching Certification and verification of approved concussions awareness course. An experienced soccer coach who will assist with the development of a total high school program. Must be able to work as a team leader, and coordinate program with the building wide academic and co-curricular programs. Should have experience in coaching soccer and have current CPR and first aid certification. Must have or be willing to obtain Alaska Coaching Certification. JOB DESCRIPTION: The coach will be responsible for implement a coaching philosophy that promotes the expectations of high school athletics and activities. Will be responsible for training athletes and preparing them for interscholastic competition and developing their skills at a competitive level. Will be responsible for the inventory, ordering, program budget, and program evaluation. Will enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsman-like behavior at all times. Will work within the KPSAA rules and philosophy for extracurricular activities as stated in the KPSAA manual. Work under direct supervision of the building administrator. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Must have a current ASAA Coach Certification and verification of approved concussions awareness course on/or before the first contract day.
