The Remote Journeyman Plumber maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, remodels, or constructs industrial plumbing systems, various piping systems, hydronic heating systems, various air handling systems, envirovac toilet units, various pumps, and plumbing equipment. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS’ mission, vision, and values. ($35.50/hr + DOE)
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have completed a formal training program relating to the plumbing industry.
- Must have at least five (5) years’ verifiable industrial plumbing experience which demonstrates knowledge of water distribution systems, wastewater systems, industrial high volume pumping equipment, gas distribution systems, pressure devices, gas heating systems and furnace appliances, appliances used in industrial kitchens, laundries, and boiler rooms, and the state plumbing codes.
- Must be licensed to work as a Journeyman Plumber in the State of Alaska.
