This position will help the Housing Director and the Case Managers, oversee and maintain safety at various properties. Full job description included below. Responsibilities
● Consistent and dependable attendance Attend all mandatory staff meetings, program meetings, and trainings
● Interact with clients and staff members in a manner that is respectful and empowering
● Present a professional demeanor to the community through appearance, communication, and presentation
Essential Functions
● Implement all policies and procedures
● Monitor the buildings to ensure that the residents are safe
● Clean and disinfect common areas and high touch surfaces
● Observe cameras during shift and monitor the interior and exterior of the building for any unusual, illegal,
or disruptive situations
● Provide for overnight snow removal and property upkeep when necessary
● Assist residents with lock outs
● Assist emergency responders in accessing the building
● Document and communicate shift notes in a method set by the Housing Director
● Other duties as assigned by Housing Director
Minimum Qualifications
● Commitment to agency's mission and goals
● Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles
● Ability to work independently and be comfortable with confrontational situations
● Ability to walk up stairs, walk extended distances and lift 40lbs
● Ability to pass background check
● Proficient with computers and ability to do data entry
● Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills
● High School Diploma or GED
