The Birch Center is currently looking for a Part Time Visitation Security Monitor. This position is specifically afternoons/evenings and weekends. The essential functions and responsibilities of this position include: Providing active security during supervised visits and exchanges to ensure safety including video monitoring, communication monitoring, walk through, and escorts as appropriate in compliance with safety procedures, maintaining confidentiality, providing assistance in scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: One year prior experience in the security field and a high school diploma/GED. Excellent interpersonal, group and written communication skills. Prior demonstrated ability of working with people of diverse backgrounds, culture and lifestyles. Ability to maintain boundaries. Proficient with computers and an ability to do data entry. Ability to pass background check.
