Local fabrication shop looking for a Project Manager. Candidate will be responsible for tracking projects from inception to shipping. Duties to include pre-job submittals, oversight of shop drawings, fabrication, QA/QC, managing workflow through fabrication, and providing final client documentation. Interaction with fabrication personnel and clients is required. All work performed on-site at our facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. Minimum 5 years experience required with background in mechanical piping and B.S. in Engineering or Project Management preferred.
Candidate should possess strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, be detailed oriented, have the ability to work independently and with a dynamic group of clients/co-workers. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be willing to work outdoors if applicable by assigned projects. Knowledge of welding, fabrication, coating materials and pipeline systems a plus. Ability to work flexible schedule as required by projects may be required.
Work Hours: Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch) w/ flexibility as projects require
