The Interior AIDS Association in Fairbanks is seeking a part time weekend dispensing nurse for our medication assisted opioid treatment program. Must have an RN or LPN. This position is for the weekend shift but may include other days as needed.

About Interior AIDS Association:
IAA's Interior Medication Assisted Treatment (IMAT) program helps decrease or eliminate injection drug use among people dependent on opiates, which will reduce the risk of HIV transmission. IMAT benefits the entire community by reducing overdose deaths, increasing access to treatment, and reducing the staggering quantity of diverted Suboxone on the streets.
IAA is the only community-based nonprofit organization in Interior Alaska that focuses solely on HIV-related prevention, case management and other support services. This organization helps reduce the spread of HIV by providing meaningful and effective education and prevention services to individuals and groups who may be at increased risk of infection. IAA also works to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS by providing early intervention, case management and other support services.
Available Services:
HIV education for individuals and groups at risk
Education/support for HIV+ individuals to decrease their risk of infecting others
Medication assisted treatment to help opiate users eliminate their dependence on illegal narcotic drugs such as heroin
Syringe Exchange
Free HIV and Hepatitis C Testing and free condoms
