Jason's Donuts in Fairbanks, AK is looking for one donut baker to join our team. Our ideal candidate is hard working, attentive, punctual, and responsible.HoursWednesday-Saturday 7pm - 3amSaturday - Sunday 9pm - 5amSunday - Monday 7pm - 3amResponsibilitiesManage every facet of the donut shop Sometimes you will have to work alone and you will have to problem solve and do what you were taught when certain times arise. You will mainly be baking which is kneading and frying the dough Weigh and measure ingredients Mix and blend batters Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment Glaze Pastries in a timely manner QualificationsYou have to have the physical stamina to be able to really work with the dough. We work with sometimes more than 100lbs of dough a day Kneading the dough is strength intensive and can be exhausting so if you aren't that well built for something like that then it is recommended for you to not apply. Must have good knowledge with working in a commercial kitchen You have to be able to work the hours. I can't stress this enough. The hours aren't for everybody so if you think the hours will be any difficulty to you, we recommend you don't apply. We really don't want to waste time teaching someone just for you to quit because of the hours. You have to be able to quickly learn and to listen. There will be a lot to learn so we want someone who really wants to work hard with making donuts.
