Independent Rental (IR) is a locally owned and operated equipment/event rental company. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing and communicative individual to join our team as a warehouse manager. Communication, customer service and mechanical equipment skills is a MUST.
Daily Responsibilities:
This position requires processing equipment for rent, demonstrating operations to customer, detail oriented assessing of returned equipment and performing general maintenance.
Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse operations
- Maintain clean, safe and organized warehouse environment
- Manage warehouse support staff
- Operate and demonstrate rental equipment daily
- Measure performance of rental equipment, warehouse staff and machinery
- Monitor all equipment rentals going in and out
- Communicate with customers and coworkers effectively
- Proficient teamwork skills involving all departments of IR operations
Warehouse Skills & Qualifications:
- Be able to lift 75 lbs. and work on their feet for a full 8 hour shift in all seasons
- Strong communication skills, must be a people person
- Excellent customer service skills
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- 2 years with warehouse experience
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to multitask with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as a team with ongoing projects
- Any management experience is a plus
Expectation: Providing superior customer service while working in a fast paced environment with multiple moving parts. This is a full time position, dress code is casual but please be presentable.
