NeighborWorks Alaska is hiring immediately for property Maintenance Positions at our affordable apartment complexes. This position will provide quality work for our apartment residents and be a valued team member of our Maintenance crew. If you want to give back to your community and help our organization provide quality apartments for it's residents - We Need YOU! (We are willing to train an entry-level person!)
$500 Bonus after 90 Days of Satisfactory or above work ethics!
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, some overtime rotating on-call nights and weekend shifts with on-call pay. Pay rate depends on your work experience.
Job Responsibilities may include:
- General repairs, installations, preventative maintenance
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Assist other apartment properties and Maintenance Supervisor as needed
- Painting (inside and outside)
- Apartment Inspections
Desired:
- 1-5 years of general maintenance experience
- Experience in: plumbing, drywall, carpentry, light electric etc.
- Clean background and driving record, must be able to pass an drug/alcohol test.
