Budtender Responsibilities:
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis and safe usage.
Staying informed of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
To follow industry regulations & company procures related to your job title or tasks you maybe preforming related to your job title.
Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system; This includes handling returns, refunds / exchange, ensuring customer is receiving the proper discounts as procures allow.
Have a knowledge & understanding of our customer loyalty program. Ask every customer if they are a loyalty member / elevate customer excitement about the rewards.
Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times; Surfaces are to be wiped down regularly, eliminate of clutter on counters & sales space as needed.
Build customer rapport Being a positive face of the dispensary, greeting customers with a warm smile.
Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required by state regulation and/or customers request.
Verifying customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age of 21+ or older.
Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
Checking / updating menu platforms as needed.
Assisting in various retail operational duties such as but are not limited to; package / labeling products, counting incoming inventory, updating social media platforms, troubleshoot / solving common issues that may arise, accepting product transfers, meeting sales goals, boosting team morale, leading team work flow
Budtender Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven to be 21+ years of age w/ valid ID
A valid marijuana handlers card / food handlers
Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their effects / benefits.
Proficiency in general computer skills.
Outstanding organizational skills / attention to details
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to solve basic math equations
