ON-SITE SECURITY OFFICER

Reports to: Lead Officer/Operations Manager

Personnel reporting to this position: none

Responsibilities of a Community Based Officer may include but are not limited to:

Patrol areas of building, parking lot and grounds to protect the human, tangible and property assets at the client hospital, assure patients/employees security and prevent damage to or loss of company and employee/patient property.

Assist in maintaining a proper work atmosphere at the site which includes; dealing with disruptive patients or persons coming into the hospital whose conduct could affect the proper functioning of the center. Insure that an environment conducive to a patient care setting is maintained.

Assist hospital staff and patients in need of assistance.

Promote the client’s vision and mission to staff, patients and the public at large. Be an ambassador for the client hospital and present an exemplary “First Impression".

Maintain confidentiality regarding patient/client and employee information.

Requirements:

2 years Security experience required

Must be 21 years or older

Up-to-date immunization record; for Rubella, PPD, T-DAP, Hep A, Flu (if candidate does not have one, immunizations will be provided)

The ability to deal effectively with disruptive patients or visitors

A high school diploma or GED

Successful completion of drug test and background checks

Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record

Completion of all online and on job training

Complies with all uniform requirements according to the S88 Standard Operating Procedures

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing

Ability to learn and use new software efficiently

Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States

Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices

Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, work under stress, and work under austere conditions

Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
