Busy little Asian grocery store is looking for an honest, hard working Grocery Stock Clerk.
Job duties include but not limited to: Operating a commercial deli meat slicer, stocking products in display cases and on shelves, keeping a list of low stock items requiring reorder, breaking down pallets of merchandise and warehousing items, maintaining the store and storage facilities in a clean manner, sweeping, dusting, spill cleanup (swinging a mop is required), assisting in air cargo shipping &receiving activities, make local deliveries and provide customer assistance.
Prefer at least six months experience in retail stocking, but will train.
Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work long hours, (this is not a 9 to 5 position) 60 hour work week is a minimum, 72 hours routine week.
Must be able to work inside freezers periodically.
Must be able to multitask.
Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol screening test.
Must obtain MOA Food Handlers card within 14 days of hire.
Experience with operating a deli meat slicer.
