Help Me Grow Alaska is hiring two Family Support Specialists.
Be a part of an exciting team that is building a system where every Alaskan kid has what they need to grow and succeed. As a program of the All Alaska Pediatric Partnership, we are the leaders of collaborative, statewide efforts to improve health and wellness outcomes for children. We do this by communicating, coordinating and advocating best practice efforts in Alaska.
HELP ME GROW ALASKA PROGRAM GOALS:
Strategic Goal 1: HMG-AK strengthens the system of care to increase the number of children developmentally on track by connecting families with the right support through the Call Center, through community partners, and through outreach activities.
Strategic Goal 2: HMG-AK generates data regarding the system of care for children prenatal through 26 that is accurate, readily available, and has the right amount of detail to inform individual partners and support resource allocation and advocacy.
Strategic Goal 3: HMG-AK has a statewide presence through highly engaged bi-directional partnerships with existing statewide networks as well as individual community champions.
Strategic Goal 4: HMG-AK has the organizational capacity to achieve its core purpose: Building a system where every Alaskan kid has what they need to grow and succeed.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Family Support Specialist: This full-time position is responsible for connecting families with the resources and supports through the Help Me Grow Alaska Call Center, as well as helping to administer the Help Me Grow Alaska Developmental Screening Program, maintain a comprehensive resource directory and help support providers working with children, among other duties.
