The essential job duties include:

Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install both PSTOL flaps and aluminum struts

Installation of hardware such as rivet/blind rivet, various hardware

Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed using tools such as scribes, ruler, calculator and squares

Trims, files, grinds, deburr, buffs and smooths surfaces

Bolts, rivets, screws, clips parts to assemble products

Manufacture or assist with the manufacture of parts

The ideal candidate

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years work-related experience

Preferred experience in aircraft fabrication, modification and installation of parts, items and assemblies by interpreting technical data such as blue prints or manufacturer drawings or manuals

Must be highly detail with strong aptitude to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Must be able to follow direction, work independently, and also work well as part of a team

Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations

Should have forklift, Bobcat and hand tool experience and meet the physical requirements of the job

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

Employees must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds at times

Walk, stand on concrete floor and be mobile up to ten hours at a time

Vision within normal ranges, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity

Bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl

Reach below, at and above shoulder height
