SUMMARY OF POSITION: In alignment with the Patient-Centered Medical Home model, the Switchboard Operator is responsible for promptly and professionally answering all incoming calls to ANHC. This is to ensure increased access, operational efficiencies, and enhanced patient experience by creating customary expectations for patients, staff, and providers. In doing so, the Switchboard Operator is responsible for routing calls to the appropriate person(s), queues, and/or taking messages according to established protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or the equivalent. Experience as an operator or similar position answering multi-line telephones preferable. Experience in a medical office setting and/or other customer service experience desirable. Good attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
