SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Outreach/Enrollment Representative will support ANHCs efforts to enroll uninsured community members for health insurance programs, with a focus on Medicaid and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Primary duties include responding to questions, assisting with applications and enrollments, and providing ongoing support to enrolled patients, conducting patient outreach activities, assisting with ANHCs sliding fee discount program and related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent and one-year experience in a customer service and/or community organizing setting required. Associates degree in a human services related field preferred. Experience in client application assistance settings with emphasis on diverse communities of ethnicity and income preferred.
Must be able to work flexible schedule that includes occasional evening and weekend enrollment events on and off site, including homeless shelters, community events and health fairs.
