We are adding more staff to each classroom to ensure safety and have multiple openings for both full and part-time Classroom Aides!
CLASSROOM AIDE- Assist the preschool teacher in creating an
environment to promote the growth and development of young children. Promote the health,
nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months experience caring for preschool children preferably in a classroom
environment
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work as team member with staff and parents
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Flexibility to work additional hours appreciated
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Pre-hire: Fingerprinting/Background Check
Post-hire: Annual Physical/Health History
CPR and First Aid Certification
Food Worker Card
Current Auto Insurance Card
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Location: Palmer, Wasilla, Meadow Lakes, Chugiak/Eagle River
Supervisor: Center Coordinator
Salary: $13.29 – $16.48 per hour DOE/E
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available, part- year (summer and school breaks off)
