GCIs Supv, Operations Data Reporting will oversee

and supervise a team to coordinate with Network Operations Management teams and

stakeholders to provide data analysis in a variety of analytic solutions to aid

in decision making in regard to quality assurance practices, compliance and

deliverables to the customer. Essential Duties of Position: This position requires to:

Fully own the mission, goals, operations, and

results of the team. This responsibility

is non-delegable.

Provide strong leadership to the team. This includes generating enthusiasm and

shared commitment; identifying and setting new directions; teaching, growing,

and empowering; owning outcomes; and leading by example. This responsibility is non-delegable. Specific leadership duties include:

Establishing the vision and tone for the

department, consistent with company culture and mission;

Establishing clear goals and performance

expectations.

Hiring individuals who can accomplish those

goals and meet those expectations, and providing them the open communications,

training, tools, and mentoring they need to be successful and develop

professionally, and a development path commensurate with capabilities and

potential.

Providing clear and accurate feedback to

individuals and teams on a timely and consistent basis. Identifying and

addressing performance problems early and effectively before they damage GCIs

interests and demoralize other employees.

These processes include annual performance reviews, compensation

adjustments, promotions, demotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions up to

and including termination.

Responsible to provide; delivery of high-quality analysis

and work to grow analytics offerings. Ensure data integrity by implementing

quality assurance practices and compliance with deliverable reporting

requirements through quality data audits and analysis. Identify and define both

process and data improvements.Working with the management team; provide stakeholders data

requirements and with internal/or external resources to develop tools and

services such as segmentation, modeling, dashboard development, decision aids,

and business case analysis to support the organization. Develop and lead departmental efforts to cooperatively

introduce substantive improvements to the companys processes, operations or

practices to drive growth and revenue.

Define and communicate system rules, requirements, and enhancements. Responsible for hiring, leading, developing and managing the

performance by those reporting to this position, establishes and communicates

clear performance expectations, and makes recommendations for salary

increases. Sets the tone for continuing

training requirements of key individuals to ensure that the team is prepared to

take full advantage of key advances in the technologies used by GCI to improve

and add new services for our customers. Provide timely annual performance

reviews to all direct reports and ensure that all employees within the

department receive annual performance reviews on time. Responsible for team

results and recommends and /or approves promotions, demotions, transfers or

disciplinary actions up to and including termination. Maintains union free

workforce through effective communication and regular feedback to employees

regarding their performance against expectations and use of effective

performance recognition of groups involved.Job Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

Excellent people skills - ability to manage

performance, motivation, and counseling of different levels of employees in a

varied environment.

Leadership - ability to lead a team to high

levels of performance while maintaining morale and personal growth for the

employee.

Analytical skills - ability to analyze problems

and provide analysis using multiple analytical tools.

Excellent communications skills - both verbal

and written. Must be able to articulate information in presentation format in

front of internal and external customers.

Demonstrated Project management experience

Budget development and management experience

Minimum qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of data analysis experience

of increased responsibility for the successful growth, operation, maintenance,

and availability of complex reporting. Minimum two years

lead/supervisory/managerial role.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics or

relevant field.

Or a combination of relevant work experience

and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to

meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis.

Certifications:

Industry Specific Certifications are highly valued and contribute toward

education.

Reporting Relationships:Position reports to:

TBD at time of placementNumber of Direct Reports (if applicable): two or more Physical Requirements: Physical effort may include stooping,

kneeling, touching, reaching, standing, grasping, talking, hearing and

repetitive motions. Clarity of vision to

see near, mid-range, and color. Ability

to lift and carry 25 lbs. Working Conditions: Most activities conducted in office

environment at a desk with a computer and phone under pleasant climatic

conditions. Work can be intense and stressful and involve long periods using

computer terminals or the equivalent.

Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including, but not

limited to, weekends, holidays, evenings, before or after normal shift hours

and at other company locations.Must be able to travel in Alaska and out of state. The

position location may vary depending on need. This position may require

extended hours and/or weekend schedules.

Must be able to remain productive with interruptions, distractions and

noise. The company and its subsidiaries operate in a 24/7

environment providing critical services to Alaskans and may need to respond to

public health and safety matters or other business emergencies. Due to business

needs employees may be contacted outside of the normal business hours to

respond to the immediate emergency. Driving Requirements (if applicable): Must possess and maintain a valid drivers
