Providence is calling for a CHS Call Center RN to our location in Anchorage, AK. This is a full time regular position. This is not a union position.

We are seeking a CHS Call Center RN to be responsible for providing clinical caregiver health services, primarily through telephonic and virtual means, and in Caregiver Health Services offices at times.

The CHS Center RN ensures compliance with state and federal requirements and PSJH policies and protocols and utilizes the tools provided to ensure accuracy of information and direction to our caregiver and core leader customers.

Accountable for timely and effective response, management, resolution, escalation of incoming inquiries, in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Applies critical thinking to resolve complex questions regarding COVID-19, intake of exposures, caregivers reporting symptoms, exclusion from and clearance to return to work, the after-hours management of blood / body fluid exposures, virtual pre-employment health screens, and support annual surveillance activities, as well as other CHS activities as identified and trained to.

Mentors and supports new members and / or new processes and initiatives. Participates as an integral team member with CHS colleagues and leaders to deliver high quality occupational and environmental health services.

Performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence Saint Joseph Health mission, values, and philosophy.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities :

Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relations in dealing with others, including caregivers, core leaders, new hire candidates, and colleagues to maximize productivity and service delivery results.

Provide clinical expertise, guidance and restrictions regarding caregivers with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 according to current PSJH processes to reduce the risk of communicable disease transmission and provide necessary information to caregivers and their core leaders.

Utilize most current tools, policies and resources to verify accuracy of information provided.

Perform virtual pre-employment health screens, collaborating with local CHS team members and Customer Service Representatives and, when any accommodations or unique circumstances are identified, with Human Resources or CHS Medical Director.

Responsible for accurate input of all transactions into Call Center and OHM systems within specific and designated time frames to ensure timely processing of deliverables and SLA’s.

Ensure maintenance, storage, accuracy and confidentiality of employee health records, utilizing current standard operating procedures

Ensure remote workplace and practices comply with telecommuting policy in all aspects.

Manage after hours caregiver exposures to blood or body fluids or infectious disease following current PSJH policy and protocols, supporting the caregiver throughout the process and ensures results are provided to minimize the wait time as much as and whenever possible.

Work on-site in CHS to provide on-site services as business demands require and as directed by CHS Manager

Assure compliance with confidentiality policies, in accordance with State and Federal laws, maintains confidentiality of caregiver, patient, and business.

Qualifications :

Required qualifications :

2 years experience as an RN in an acute or post-acute setting.

Basic Life Support (BLS), upon hire.

Registered Nurse, upon hire.

Preferred qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

1 year experience in an Employee / Occupational Health setting.

6 months experience with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, OHM, technologically savvy.
