Job Title: Shift Supervisor
Wages: up to $20 per an hour DOE
Job Type: Full-Time 40 - 50 hrs a week
Open Availability Preferred.
Must be Flexible. Available between the hours of 2 p.m. - 7 a.m. Mid / Overnight Shifts.
Must be Available on Weekends and Holidays Shifts May Vary.
Purpose:
The Shift Supervisor assists the Operations Leadership Team in maintaining an efficient, positive environment that ensures present company goals and objectives are being met.
Scope:
The Shift Supervisor reports to the Department Manager. The Shift Supervisor assists in training, customer service, promoting awareness of product, processes, policy knowledge, team accountability, education, scheduling and encouraging safe work practices while championing the 4 main GOAT goals.
Required Skills and Abilities:
● Must have consistent, reliable transportation to and from work.
● Must possess computer skills and be able to learn new computer software in a quick and effective manner.
● Punctuality and flexibility in schedule, including but not limited to, able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events.
● Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
● Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
● Must be able to communicate by telephone, text email, and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner with all clients, vendors, staff and co-workers.
● Must enjoy working with people, possess empathic abilities in dealing with clients and their needs.
● Must demonstrate respectful and professional body language at all times.
● Must be able to learn and remember pick-up and destination points.
● Must be able to understand signs, read flight displays and follow directions.
● Must possess good eyesight, hearing and a good memory for details and procedures.
Qualifications:
● Must be at least 21 years old
● Excellent driving record history with at least 5 years of US driving experience.
● Must hold a valid driver’s license and Medical Examiners Certificate aka Medical Card.
● Must pass Drug and Alcohol tests and pass background checks.
● Must have a stable work history with a track record of being reliable and punctual.
Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or equivalent and fluency to read and write in the English language.
● Minimum of 1 year’s previous supervisory experience.
Physical Demands:
This work requires sitting, standing, walking and climbing for long periods of time and using office equipment. It may require driving in challenging road conditions, bending, lifting and pushing over 70lbs, moving supplies and materials from time to time.
Shift Description:
Shift Supervisor usually work shift's that vary depending on flight times and client needs that often includes, holidays and weekends 40-50 hour work week, weekly schedule to be determined. The work environment may include exposure to high levels of noise from terminals, cooler temperatures and be physically demanding.
