Summary - Our Payroll Clerk/HR Coordinator position will be primarily responsible for several companies - payroll functions within each, including inter-company transactions. The role will include weekly payrolls, certified payroll, payroll deposits, federal and state reporting of new hires and annual & quarterly tax returns.

Duties and Responsibilities - Full payroll responsibilities for each company, answer inquiries from employee discrepancies. Reconciliation and reporting of each entity’s Payroll Reports. Creation of

(but not limited to) annual W-2 Forms, quarterly tax reports, 401k tracking, Alaska new hire reporting. Must be knowledgeable with regards to (but not limited to) construction oriented payroll, processing, State of Alaska reporting,Workers Compensation Insurance coding and reporting. Must be willing and able to work with our financial auditors on an annual basis – responsible to respond to all requests for information, regarding our payroll transactions. Must be able to coordinate with Controller, General Manager and jrProject Managers on an ‘as needed’ basis. It is the Payroll Clerk's responsibility to plan, coordinate and execute these duties.

Education and Requirements -Associates Degree in Accounting or greater preferred

Experience with Sage Software a plus, Minimum of five (5) years of experience with payroll

accounting,

Familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word. Must work with integrity, pay attention to detail, able to multi-task, have strong written and oral communication skills, dependable and reliable, and have ability to problem solve.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year (DOE)
