True North Federal Credit Union, a well-established, member-owned financial institution located in Juneau, AK, is seeking an accomplished professional to join our executive team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). True North is a mid-size credit union that offers diverse products and services. As a result, the CFO position requires a blend of strategic and operational competencies in order to drive our financial strategy. The CFO will oversee and direct the financial affairs of the credit union including the following: Asset and Liability Management, investments, fiscal analysis, maintenance of the general ledger accounts, financial reporting, accounting and transaction settlement.
The successful candidate must be able to understand and support the operational elements of the accounting department, while also having the ability to conceptualize and prepare financial analysis. Proven management and leadership skills, the ability to learn data driven systems, and a strong skill set in MS Excel are required, as well as a degree in business, accounting or finance, and 5-10 years related experience.
