Works in international project groups and lead and/or coordinate projects to implement international supply chain and quality management processes.Organizes, moderates, tracks and documents all supplier and plant implementation status meetings.Tracks open items with project management relevant tools and ensures its completion by the due datesPrepares of implementation status reporting for MB ExTra management, relevant panels and committees.Participates in the analysis of process solutions within MB ExTra’s international supply chain and quality management.Procures from and/or exchange information with partners/colleagues in MB ExTra, logistics service provider, suppliers, customers, and various departments (best practice and lessons learned).Prepares planning options, evaluate cost-efficiency, and provide analysis of both via detailed business case studies for management approval.Creates proposals for process implementations in particular area and/or in regard to reduce costs and showing / identifying possible solution approaches by applying logistics standards, methods and processes.Ensures proper PDCA (plan, do, check, act) implementation and communication in a controlled and standardized approach for product, process, and people related changes resulting from product and/or process change and continuous improvement activities.Supports continues improvement ideas and activities with MB ExTra’s supply chain and quality management team to ensure achievement of their goals.Organize internal and external meetings to clarify problems, identify root cause, implement countermeasures, and report findings.Ensures transfer of lessons learned from areas all suppliers and customers.Assists in training for primarily MBExTra Logistics Team Members on process changes.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or in a related field required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience : A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience within a manufacturing setting with strong emphasis on project management and international supply chain planningNecessary Skills, Certifications, etc .:Main frame system knowledge: SAPMicrosoft Office knowledge: Word, Excel, MS Project and Power PointAbility to work within an international team environmentPreferred Skills : General knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.
