Our company is family owned and operated and has been in business for more than 40 years and is seeking a qualified person to add to our team.

The position description is as follows:

Inside Sales/General Office

This position is a combination of performing Inside Sales Responsibilities along with General Office duties.

As a Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible about 60-75% of the time for making outbound calls to cold leads, prospects and customers, introducing new products and services, and confirming receipt of our firms correspondence. The remainder of the position is performing general office work as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform outbound telephone calls to prospects (approximately.15 - 20 calls per hour).

Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.

Maintain and update records of contacts, discussion and status in the CRM system.

Research and identify new leads through internet searches and company generated call lists.

Respond promptly to request for brochures, and additional information.

Phone Reception

Entry of and Billing of Customer Orders.

Follow up with customers on order status.

Posts credit card and payments to customer accounts.

Performs credit and collection of customer accounts.

Enters accounts payable invoices. Scans all payable documents into electronic filing system.

Orders parts and supplies from vendors.

Performs other office tasks as needed by the company.

Requirements:

1+ Years of Customer Service, General Office, Sales or Telemarketing experience.

Should have a passion for marketing the over phone.

Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner.

Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Ability to write detailed follow up notes for business reporting.

Confident, self-motivated, friendly personality and team player.

Able to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organization.

Compensation

This is a part-time position with a flexible hours during normal workdays, Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm at our offices in Florence, AL. Compensation is based on experience.
