Seeking a competent and dependable live-in caregiver in Prattville, AL. The selected candidate is expected to live at the residence for (5-7) days a week. This position is ideal for someone who's interested in long term employment. Must be compassionate, mature, possess good work ethics and have a passion for working with the elderly. The ideal candidate will provide emotional support to patient, be compassionate, patient, understanding, will administer patient medication and be responsible for patient hygiene. Caregiver Duties
- Provide direct care for client in home to ensure that she is comfortable and well-cared for
- Meal preparation. Ensure that she has enough to drink & eat
- Run errands as necessary with client (shopping, etc.)
- Ensure that client is properly toileted. To prevent falls. Assist client in the use of toilet facilities.
- Assist client with personal hygiene, including shower.
- Help client get dressed and perform grooming .
- Do light laundry and light housekeeping as directed.
- Perform other duties as directed
- Ensure prescription medication is administered as prescribed
