Adcomm Installations, Inc. is seeking I&R Technicians in Alabama: Foley (Bayou La Batre, Gulf Shores)
I&R Technicians perform installation, maintenance, and repair of POTS (Plain Old Telephone), Fiber, TELCO, and DSL. Maintaining copper plant facilities within assigned geographic service areas is also included.
Responsibilities:
Installation and repair CAT3, CAT5e, CAT6, RJ11, RJ45 jacks, drops and/or NID.
Basic computer skills and Android platform mobile device application usage.
Experience with phone systems.
Accountability/dependability
Active Learning (seeker of new information / actively works to improve).
Asking relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions.
Requirements:
A vehicle that can accommodate a 28’ ladder.
Must be able to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required.
Pass background check, drug test and MVR check.
Previous Telecom experience a plus.
Other requirements as assigned.
