Eurest Services Job Description General
This position must have working knowledge of building automation logic with the ability to read and, identify functional problems with pressures/temperatures, valves and actuators and repair/install new equipment on an as-needed basis. The individual in this role must be available for on-call work. Off-hours shifts, evening, night and weekend work as required. The position may be called upon to perform other general maintenance and support duties on an as-needed basis. This position will have responsibilities in multiple buildings across site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work safely at ALL times, following company and clients’ safety policies.
Use Job Safety Analysis and Safe to Work Permit processes in accordance with client policies.
Prioritize work orders and complete them in an efficient manner and within the specified SLA
(timeframe).
Perform sheetrock repairs. Install, patch, tape & float, paint.
Perform Carpentry repairs.
Make and hang signage needed on site.
Handle glass breakage issues, making area safe.
Perform Ceiling, floor tile, and carpet repairs.
Handle door repair issues.
Hang dry erase boards, pictures, etc on walls.
Operate forklift, scissor lift, and single man lift safely and properly.
Visually inspect property to determine adherence to standards & keep mechanical rooms & work
areas clean.
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Necessary Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Trade license (Electrical, Refrigeration, etc) and multi-discipline individuals preferred.
Must have good customer service, problem- solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge and skills to safely operate common tools for repairs and maintenance
Must be willing and able to learn and pick up new tasks when shown and willing to find solutions
to problems.
Knowledge and skills to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines while also showing attention to
details
Ability to read, interpret, and apply written instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment

Self-motivated. Must be able to work without direct supervision and also be able to work as a team with other staff.

Usually inside, well ventilated and lighted areas; incumbent will be exposed to a standard office environment, as well as, outside changing weather conditions. Required to enter/exit confined spaces.

There is continuous pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands. Unpleasant contacts and/or concern about unpleasant situations are frequent. Moderate disruption of family/social life.
