We are seeking full and part time security guards. Experience preferred. Veterans, Retired law enforcement or military welcomed. Must be able to obtain a TWIC card. We have a great crew and looking to add to it. We want team players with good attitudes. Experience preferred but will train. Retirees looking for part time or special event work welcome to apply.
Ability to perform patrols if needed including walking long distances and going up and down stairs
Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and posture at all times
Ability to maintain logs.
Must be comfortable working in conditions that range from Summer heat to cold or rainy conditions
Open availability without restraints due to other part time jobs etc preferred.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Military and/or Law Enforcement experience a plus
- Current, valid Driver's License with reliable transportation required
- U.S. citizen, able to read, write, and fluently speak English required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
- Proven and documented record of past employment reliability required
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and obtaining signatures
- Training/certification will be provided. Ability to satisfactorily obtain and maintain appropriate certifications required
- Ability to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights)
- Adequate physical fitness with the ability to constantly stand on your feet, and maintain mental focus and awareness of surroundings during assigned shifts required
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; some experience in the field or in a related area preferred
