Brookside Senior Living Community is looking for a compassionate, honest, and trust worthy certified nursing assistant to join our growing team. Our facility is a 16 bed / 16 resident facility that is family owned and operated and has had a complete remodel and renovation recently.
The Caregiver / CNA, under the direction of a Licensed Nurse, would have the following examples of responsibilities:
To be knowledgeable of the resident's individualized care plan and meet the resident's needs while maintaining the resident's dignity.
To interact with the residents in a professional and compassionate manner while provident a safe
environment.
Work well with others and enhance our positive work environment for all Brookside employees.
Display geriatric knowledge in order to observe the resident. If any change is noticed the Caregiver / CNA must report it immediately to the Licensed Nurse.
Resident's families are very important not only to the resident but to the Brookside staff. You must be able to work with each resident's family in order to provide and maintain a home like loving environment.
Your job functions will include but not limited to:
Taking care of assigned residents with A.D.L.'s. Some of these are: Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Grooming, and Toileting.
Assist the residents in keeping their rooms clean by doing scheduled deep cleans.
Help keep the rooms tidy on a daily basis.
Get the dining room and residents ready for meals at Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Clean-up is also expected.
Most of all, we are looking for loving, compassionate, and trustworthy individuals that show up to work on-
time with a huge smile ready to make a positive impact on each resident and fellow Brookside employees.
You can choose either Full-Time or Part-time. Caregivers / CNA's will have a choice of 40 hours per week OR 24 hours per weekend OR have the chance to pick up PRN hours during the week.
WEEKEND: Two 12 hour shifts for Saturday and Sunday.
7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
OR 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
AND/OR
PRN Monday thru Friday either 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. OR 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. OR 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Compensation is $8.50 per hour.
