We Are Hiring We are hiring a Full Time CNA for our Medical/Surgical Oncology floor!Providence Hospital is a full service, 349-bed medical/surgical facility. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Providence Hospital, you will have the opportunity to assist with patient care activities. You will:
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Accommodate patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
What You Will NeedLicenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must be credentialed from the Alabama Certified Nurse Aid Registry.
Education:
Diploma
High school diploma or GED required.
Work Experience:
None required.
Previous CNA experience preferred.
