Job Responsibilities
Determine staffing requirements & facilitate the hiring process; coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments and dispatch of move crew
Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development & motivation
Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
Serve as the "on-call" contact outside of normal business hours
Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, college degree or commensurate experience in management
Highly organized and detail minded; ability to multi-task
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Effective communication skills
Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values
Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more
Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word and Outlook
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
Driving record has to be able to pass our carrier's minimum insurance requirements
Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
