Commercial/Industrial Construction Superintendent needed in Huntsville, AL. Long-term position.
This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily activities of commercial construction projects to ensure that work is completed on time and to project specifications.
Pay: $85,000/year + benefits DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Applicants with Industrial/Commercial experience only will be considered
Requirements:
-Minimum of 8-10 years' PM or superintendent experience on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
-Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
-OHSA 10 certification
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate proposals.
-Coordinate and track Request for Information (RFI's), Request for Proposals (RFP's), and Change Orders.
-General day-to day project management duties, including maintaining a safe work site and managing all employees on the ground.Â
-Ability to prepare and update construction schedules.
