ENTRY-LEVEL PROGRAMMER/TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST NEEDEDUnited Treating & Distribution - Muscle Shoals, ALVisit our Site or Call (833) 865-0778The programmer position codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs both new programs/technologies and makes changes to existing programs/technologies of a complex nature to provide quality IT services to user departments.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.Programming:Writes structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards.Conducts unit tests of either new or modified applications. Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications. Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements. Technical Support:Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements. Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives on users premises. Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications. Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users. Coordinates activities with network services and information systems groups. Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
