Our client is looking to augment their team with an experienced Account Manager / Inside Sales Manager to assist in the client account management and upselling of their cloud-based ERP systems. This is a work from home Remote position, but candidate should live in the Huntsville, AL or Washington DC / Alexandria, VA areas in order to best service clients. No travel anticipated during COVID, some travel post-COVID
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations, etc.
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred
- Experience with Government Contracting, and or ERP is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience navigating and steering customer engagements to completion with a high level of customer happiness
- Ability to credibly coordinate between teams and customers to meet customer requirements
- Develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
- Responsible for ensuring that customer needs are translated properly and understood by all internal departments that may handle any issues pertaining to the Clients’ work.
- Work directly with the VP of Business Development & Partner Relationship Management and play a critical role in the growth and
- Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing customers through a relationship-based approach to account management and customer success
- Establish executive credibility as customer advocate to navigate Company’s resources
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Promote Company’s products and services to existing & potential customers. Assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
- Drive assigned customers up the satisfaction ladder as measured by net promoter score
- Reduce customer churn rate and maintain and improve long-term client retention
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers in the assigned territory/market segment
- Provide expertise on Company’s solution, highlight key features and functionality allowing customer to achieve their objectives
- Understand Clients’ needs in comparison to the Company’s products and services offerings to generate upsell business
- Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota
- Make telephone calls and in-person visit and presentation to existing customers
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Coordinate sales initiatives with marketing, sales management, professional services, customer support and development.
- Coordinate resources with other departments to achieve objectives
- Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests for consideration for product roadmap
- Keep abreast of Company’s products as well as technical & professional consulting services
- Maintain and update sales plans, account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including SalesForce.com
