Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama.

• Provide technical expertise for Cybersecurity efforts supporting multiple programs.
• Prepare DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages solutions for weapon systems and platforms.
• Create all required Cybersecurity RMF artifacts. Identify and implement all policy required RMF controls. Mitigate risks as needed.
• The position is responsible for analyzing and translating Cybersecurity (IA) and technical solutions into accreditation packages that meets DoD/Army accreditation standards.
• Responsible for performing Cybersecurity analysis of all aspects of both operational information systems and laboratory-based information systems.
• Position provides continuous monitoring to maintain the required security posture of program resources.
• Perform basic computer patching and security hardening.
• Must be able to implement and maintain vendor supplied security software packages, work with security hardware components, perform diagnostics for security problems and identify and analyze security risks.
• Must have experience with the implementation and operation of mandatory tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS), Security Center, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Compliance Checker (SCC), and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Perform vulnerability scans and work with systems administrators to identify and implement technical security controls.
• Write security related procedures, incident reports and white papers.

• Experience in information systems and information security.
• Experience performing Cybersecurity/IA responsibilities including planning, testing, and documenting accreditation packages for Information Technology (IT) systems and networks.
• Information Assurance and technical writing skills.
• IT experience in System Administration.
• Experience with Android Operating System.
• Experience in conducting Application Security scans using HP Fortify.

• Tactical networks and information systems
• Server virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of Federal and DoD Guidance (DoDD 8500.1, DoDI 8500.2), RMF, DIACAP, NIACAP, NIST, and DoD Certification & Accreditation processes.

• IA certification requirements for an IAT and/or IAM Level II position per DoD 8570.01-M (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc).
• Will consider Security+ as satisfying requirement.

• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCIPT)/Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).

• Candidate must have a minimum of an Interim Secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance preferred.
