Coast Personnel Services in Huntsville has immediate openings for experienced forklift drivers, material handlers and leads. All shifts available.
Material Handler & Forklift Operators Requirements:
· Have previous forklift/warehouse experience
. Load/ Unload trucks
.Scanning and labeling
. Material Handler
. Picking, Packing and Pulling orders
Lead Requirements:
The Lead reports directly to the Operations Manager on 1st shift and the Sr. Operations Supervisor on 2nd shift. The Lead will be responsible for employee productivity in the area. The Lead will ensure all customer orders are picked within a 30 minute timeframe for normal orders and a 15 minute time frame for HOT orders. The Lead is responsible for productivity, safety, and quality goals set by the company and the customer. Ensuring shelves are stocked and product is in the correct location. Ensuring all no stock/not in location orders are closed out in WMS and emails sent to the appropriate parties. Observe company policies and ensure that all policies are conformed to, including Standards of Work (SOWs), company policy and procedures, and safety rules and regulations. Reporting to the Operations Manager and the customer any problems that could interfere with the pick times or with material being in location/in stock. Ensuring the area is running efficiently and reporting issues that contribute to downtime and slowdowns. Assists in the training of employees in the outbound area and ensuring the work area is clean and orderly. Assist with jobs as needed or assigned by the Operations Manager/Sr. Operations Supervisor. Other duties as needed or required.
