The Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing -Production Line) is responsible for first line supervision of mechanics and electricians who maintain production line equipment within the production facility.
Role Responsibilities
Assists in establishing methods, controls and standards for the actual execution of maintenance work
Staff, train, supervise, evaluate and develop team members
Maintain equipment to ensure line efficiency, improve key performance indicators and to eliminate downtime
Service and repair equipment on a continual basis, adhering to established preventative maintenance schedule
Ensure that working conditions are safe at all times
Maintain safe work environment by holding regular safety meetings to communicate safety awareness and policies
Maintain an accurate parts inventory at all times
Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety standards
Create, plan and execute preventative maintenance programs
Role Requirements
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of Manufacturing and Production equipment related experience
Strong leadership skills highly preferred. Previous supervisory experience
Must have Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment and high-speed production equipment including: experience repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining Electrical, PLCs, and Production line equipment
Hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics skills.
Experience developing PM (preventive maintenance) or TPM programs.
Ability to manage employees effectively.
