Swan Creek Mobile Home & RV Community in Tanner, AL, currently has a job opening for a "Handyman/Maintenance Person". All applicants must pass a credit and background check. This Handyman/Maintenance Person role calls for someone who knows their way around the toolbox, enjoys working with a great team and likes a bit of variety in their day. In a nutshell you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all common areas of the property. You must be physically fit, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who wont stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner. Ideally you will have experience with property maintenance and preventative maintenance programs. Your Responsibilities: As the successful candidate, you will be required to attend to a variety of maintenance and other handyperson duties to support the needs and interests of our community. You will be responsible for a range of duties, which include but are not limited to, general maintenance, lawn/garden maintenance, and cleaning, whilst promoting safe work practices.
To be successful you will have:
Previous demonstrated experience in a general maintenance, grounds-keeping, cleaning and/or relevant trade fields
Able to operate power tools and heavy machinery
An unrestricted current drivers license
The ability to work flexible hours and to answer after hour emergency call outs every other week/weekend
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
