Capital Management Services is looking for a Janitors, or custodians, to take care of our various contract locations and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our contracted buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integrity and ability to work independently
Commercial cleaning experience preferred
High School Diploma Required
Reliable Transportation
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Occasionally carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
OTHER INFORMATION
Must have some experience with janitorial service.
A satisfactory background check and drug test will be required for this position.
Heavy lifting up to 50-60 lbs. might be required.
This is a part-time position that guarantees at least 40 hours per month. There is opportunity to get in more hours if willing to work on multiple crews.
CMS will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures and proper use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.
