«A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager:«
Oversee the kitchen, dining room, bar, private dining and office personnel
Run effective, concise, and inspirational pre-shifts
Accountability for meeting monthly food, beverage, controllable and labor financial goals
Develop initiatives to build sales, profitability, and guest counts
Ensures management team continuously maintains high quality standards (hiring, development, counseling, promotion and termination as appropriate)
Uses great guest communication, both written and verbal. Executes guest recovery and follows up appropriately.
Conducting regular inventory and ordering as necessary
Accepting and auditing deliveries
Shows strong support to other managers on premises as well as throughout the company
«What you will need to have:«
Minimum of 3 years as a Restaurant GM
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgement under pressure and in conflict situations
Team-oriented, flexible, productive, and passionate about hospitality and customer service
ServSafe Certification
Mobility required during the entire shift
Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours in length
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees
