Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking qualified candidates to join the Modeling and Simulations Contract Framework and Tools (MASC-F) program. The MASC-F program will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and it's intended uses. This includes the following categories; Concept Evaluation, Developmental Engineering, Testing and Verification, Assessment, Training, and Operational Support.MASC-F personnel will support in the following areas. Transition the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) development and sustainment from the current contract to the MASC-F contract. Modify, enhance, develop, and sustain of the MDA Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) to meet MDA's evolving M&S requirements. Maintain and evolve the OSF architecture and external interfaces. Develop, modify and enhance other BMDS tools as requiredThe project lead will be responsible for directing the Lockheed Martin team and multiple subcontractors/partners on all aspects of the program. The project lead will be a key participant in technical and programmatic communications with the customer. The project lead will also interface with LM Engineering and Technology (E&T) Managers to ensure program needs are being staffed and schedules and budgets are accurately being performed against and managed.Responsibilities include standard cost, technical, and schedule performance of both LM and any partners/subcontractors/vendors/etc; Ensuring that work products produced adhere to documented requirements per critical path need dates; Working with program management to identify and address issues, both technical and programmatic across the program; and supporting proposal efforts within the business area.The candidate must be able to integrate with multiple tasks across the program. The tasks will include, but not limited to: Supporting all proposal efforts, basis of estimate (BOE) coordination and writing, attending kick-off meetings, understanding 5-year view for the team, supporting monthly CAM meetings, base-lining of contracts.The candidate will be required to perform CAM responsibilities on some control accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, be highly collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, working autonomously as appropriate and produce superior work products under a short deadline. Candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment.The ideal candidate must be able to establish and monitor program budgets, track and reconcile actual costs, and recommend corrective action, when necessary.The candidate will support the program Run Ahead Team in working with the customer to determine requirements and drive functionality for the system.Basic Qualifications:- Earned value management, scheduling, costing, understanding of E&T processes, and familiarity with all E&T functional organizations, including familiarity with Operations, Quality, Finance, and other adjacent organizations- Experience in leading/managing small to medium sized engineering teams on tasks that range from a few weeks to a year or more in duration- Must be able to effectively communicate and present stand-up presentationsSoftware -Engineering/Architecture/Development/Integration knowledge- Experience working as a Control Account Manager or CAM certified OR with EVMSDesired Skills:- Experience performing project/program management or Software Engineering experience.- Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and written/verbal communication skills.- Experience with Agile Software Development and SCRUM Process.- Experience with C, Java or similar languages.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
