You will learn, grow, and play in an environment that focuses on results and delivery, all backed by strong corporate values and ethics.Northrop Grumman has immediate openings to staff our Systems Engineer-BMDS positions for our Huntsville, Alabama office, headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.1NGSPACEBasic Qualifications:2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with MastersAbility to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnelMicrosoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to obtain & maintain DoD Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Proficiency with either MATLAB or MathematicaSysMLExperience applying statistical methods to datasets to characterize system behavior and optimize performanceWireless point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint communication devices and systemsActive Secret ClearanceNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
