Clearance Level Must Currently Possess:Secret (NACLC)Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:SecretSuitability:No Suitability RequiredJob Family:Systems EngineeringJob Description:Candidate will support system performance and analysis activities for Scout Attack Product Office, including development, design, integration, performance analysis, test, and evaluation of Army weapon systems.Personnel, with minimal direction, performs most tasks necessary to ensure the identification System Critical Items and documentation of hazards within systems. Understands the basic elements of systems engineering to include hazard analyses, hazard management, risk management, mitigation requirements identification, documentation, tracking and implementing, and residual risk assessment.Will provide analytical support for specific test phases required for fielding of Bell, MDHI, and Augusta Westland aircraft and various systems.Participate as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) ensuring application of systems and airworthiness principles through aircraft lifecycle phases.
Provide input as needed on weapons, sensors, airframe, avionics, propulsion, drive systems software, maintenance practices and performance of the aircraft.
Provide technical input to System Safety for assigned aircraft
Provide input as a member of the Foreign Military Sales Team
Provides technical advice on maintenance practices
Assists in inspection and delivery of aircraft
Ensuring all areas (Tech, Log, Test, Systems Engineering, AED) are included in the planning, budgeting
Manage FMS projects as assigned by MASPO
Overall management of testing (scheduling, funding, and documentation)
Review and provide input on test and evaluation documentation such as AWRs, test plans, and test reports
Monitor testing to include coordination of test events
Ensure that funding received is obligated and managed correctly
Help write Statements of Work, CDRLs, Budget estimate (Independent Government Estimates)
Establishing and updating Project Management Review briefing charts
B.S in an Engineering discipline and 12 years of experience or 15 years of experience in a related field. Experience can be substituted for education.
