Supplier Program Manager - Human Landing System (HLS)Huntsville, AL|Full TimeIn order to apply for this or any other job you will need to log in.Position DescriptionIn anticipation of NASA awarding the Human Landing System (HLS) contract in the near future, Dynetics Space Systems Division is seeking qualified engineers and analysts to support NASA programs including HLS that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon. We are seeking project engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, electrical/mechanical engineers, stress/structural engineers, and analysts to join a diverse team in support of the development of a Human Lander System that will take us back to the surface of the Moon by 2024.Dynetics is seeking talentedSupplier Program Managersto join a diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving space systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective intelligence, engineering, and scientific solutions.TheSupplier Program Managerswill support the Dynetics Space Systems Division with development of HLS with primary responsibility for satisfying the material delivery requirements (using commercial off the shelf and developed items). Candidates will identify and qualify, build relationships with, and work closely with suppliers. They will support proposal pricing efforts, initiate supplier quotes, prepare supplier statements of work, and work with requisitioners to purchase materials. They will also track and report the status of material orders and will perform supplier surveillance, consisting of regular telecons and site visits, and will provide support to suppliers in execution of both hardware and non-hardware deliverables.TheSupplier Program Managers will interface with engineering, purchasing, contracts, quality, manufacturing, and others to ensure that customer requirements and applicable standards are consistently flowed to suppliers. Candidates will work in a team environment to support conceptual design through product implementation. Candidate should expect to frequently interact with suppliers and customers. Basic QualificationsCandidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.Candidate must have at least three (3) years of hardware-related experience.Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with complex system engineering practices and processes, including the product development cycle through qualification and production.Candidates must have experience with supply chain management and must be able to work with suppliers to help them meet both hardware and non-hardware deliverable requirements.Candidates must be able to work with suppliers to help them meet both hardware and non-hardware deliverable requirements.Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.The position requires travel, including periods of frequent travel for critical program assembly, integration, and test activities.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Other QualificationsPreference will be shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.Preference will be shown to candidates who have experience and/or knowledge of the following:

NASA or other aerospace hardware development projects

Working government contracts

Spaceflight hardware data deliverable requirements

Working as part of multi-company and multi-organizational development teams

Performing as an individual contributor within a short time period

In-depth understanding of aerospace mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid components
