Two years experience in related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:Provides problem analysis and comprehensive assistance to users of the University’s Identification Card System and incorporated third party software and applications. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):Provides technical assistance and support for applications and hardware problems and for information sharing with external entities in a customer service environment. Assists with planning for the effective use of management information systems. Assists in determining the operational, technical, and support requirements for the location, installation, operation, and maintenance of systems. Manages the extended services provided by the Bearkat OneCard program. Serves as the Information Technology (IT) liaison for Bearkat OneCard Services. Provides oversight to all IT operations and services provided and extended services to include Event Tracking Program, CBORD and its external applications, special operations projects such as social media, and departmental website. Performs other related duties as assigned.
