Personnel will be assigned to the FLRAA staff through a U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Aviation & Missile Center (CCDC AVMC) contract.The job duties associated with this position include the following:

Provide support to the FLRAA Technical Management Division

Assist in coordination, planning, and management of software aspects for the program, included but not limited to meeting program's scope, cost, and schedule requirements

Provide key software technical support for software documentation reviews (DO-178C deliverables)

Documentation may also include software metrics, master schedules, and cost estimates

Support comments adjudication of airworthiness authority software comments

Support the identification, tracking, and mitigation of software programmatic risks for the program

Support the authoring and review of programmatic driven statements of work and objectives, proposals, and support technical evaluations of contractor proposals

Generate metrics and measurement techniques to provide program office leadership with timely and accurate information on the state of your projects

Review contractor’s metrics to determine program progress in accordance with program scope

Support coordination of program Stage of Involvement (SOIs) to include involvement of program stakeholders

MTSI is seeking personnel with software and/or system engineering experience for this position. Education requirements for this position are for a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree. The position requires an active SECRET clearance.This following experience is desired for the position:

Experience with MIL-STD-882E, SAE ARP 4754/4761 and DO-178C (including supplements) qualification

Experience with incremental and agile software development

Experience in modular design, interface management, and open systems architecture concepts

Experience with software development/verification tools to include integration testing in system integration labs (SILs)

Knowledge of the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) technical standard

Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML/UML

ANSYS SCADE Suite and IBM Rhapsody experience preferred

Knowledge of Modular Opens Systems Approach (MOSA)

Knowledge of contract requirements and documents (Systems Engineering Plans, Performance Work Statements, etc.)
