As a Senior Staff Auditor and Supply Chain/Procurement Subject Matter Expert, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing regulatory and compliance audits, discretionary audits and assessments, process effectiveness assessments, real time operations audits, and client advisory services. The ideal candidate for this role should possess demonstrated subject matter expertise in Supply Chain Management/Procurement and Contractor Self-Oversight (CSO).Performance of formal audits includes planning, preparation, notification, fieldwork including the collection of objective evidence to support results and conclusions, briefings to management, preparation and publication of formal audit reports as well as the management of audit outcomes from issuance through follow-up verification and closure.You will work in a small team environment to perform audits, evaluate risk, and identify process improvement opportunities as well as best practices.This position requires some travel to other Lockheed Martin Space locations to perform audit fieldwork.This person must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. US citizenship required.Lockheed Martin Space offers a total compensation package from competitive wages, a 9x80 work schedule, and healthy living incentives.Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s competitive and comprehensive benefits package.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or related field 10 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following operational areas: Supply Chain Management / Procurement Contractor Self-Oversight (CSO) Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) Experience with administering complex procurements Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizingcommercial procedures (CAP) Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizingLockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) Versed in FAR, DFAR, Corporate procedures andPublic Law as they apply to subcontracts Familiarity with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs),generating all types of Request for Proposals (RFPs),evaluating subcontractor proposals, conducting fact-finding sessions, leading proposal negotiations,coordination with Legal to negotiate terms andconditions Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated execution of process areas noted above and knowledge of related processes and principles Proven success in strategic thinking through process improvement Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small team environment with the ability to interface with all levels of management Excellent verbal & written communications skills Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and SCI with poly clearanceDesired Skills: Previous audit or audit-like experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects to established schedules Proven executive level presentation experience Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a diverse workforce Knowledge/experience with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plan development/execution Experience in more than one operational area Technical writing expertise Familiarity with Aerospace Standard AS9100, Quality Management System – Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense OrganizationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
