DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is currently looking for Electrical Engineers , with RF experience to support our Huntsville, AL operations.The S3I Aviation Interoperability Laboratory (SAIL) currently has requirements to fill permanent Electronics Technician/Engineering positions located in the S3I Complex on Redstone Arsenal. The SAIL provides support for various Army communications requirements such as Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance, as well as Transport Telemedicine. The team also regularly prototypes experiments to customer specifications to be demonstrated at annual Network Integration Exercises (NIE) and Joint Warfighter Assessments (JWA). The ideal candidate will have experience with operation and integration of U.S. Army radios, both air and ground, particularly with Harris ground radios.Responsibilities Include:

Interface with and provide support for engineers responsible for the design and development of the prototype kits

Assist with integration of government furnished Tactical Radios, Data Distribution Units, antennas and ancillary supporting devices

Attend and support integration and test events

Perform functionality and reliability testing on Army communications assets

These positions will require up to 15% travel. Some travel may be OCONUS.QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience; years of experience can be used in lieu of degreeMUST be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; prefer Active SecretREQUIRED SKILLS:

Verifiable experience configuring and operating U.S. military communications equipment

U.S. Army Avionics operation/integration

Working knowledge of Cyber Security

Desired QualificationsDESIRED SKILLS:

Military or National Guard experience interfacing and coordinating with command personnel in a major test event such as NIE or JWA

Experience configuring network communications equipment

MIL-SPEC Cable fabrication experience is a plus
