Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis of Huntsville, AL is currently seeking a full-time Release and Fielding IPT Lead with 20+ years' experience that includes leading cross-functional teams and / or project management.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RELEASE AND FIELDING IPT LEAD
The Release and Fielding IPT Lead will be expected to :
Provide coordination between the Integrated Product Team (IPT) members (Civil Service and contractors) for a major US Army artillery system to promote compliance with the Release and Fielding process
Track development and fielding of software / hardware releases
Moderate a weekly Release and Fielding IPT meeting, providing minutes and meeting records to stakeholders
Call working group meetings to address specific coordination issues as they arise
Identify shortfalls in the implementation of functional and performance requirements through participation in a peer review process
Support periodic qualification tests as a government witness when directed by the Army customer
Develop and maintain an IPT Charter while encouraging constituent participation
Write an overarching Information Paper for each major system release for distribution to soldiers and maintainers
Promote "big view" awareness among artillery system stakeholders
Be a trusted advisor and central point of contact when issues arise
This is a full-time position . Monday through Friday, 8 hours.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RELEASE AND FIELDING IPT LEAD
S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Outstanding facilitation skills
Self-motivated and a positive team enabler
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of Configuration Management and the traditional software life cycle
Active Security Clearance, interim ok
U.S. Citizenship
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
5+ years' experience with software / hardware Platform integration
Hands-on experience with armored artillery or tank platforms
Familiarity with :
Government Safety, Interoperability, and Environmental testing
Logistics
Diagnostics, Cybersecurity, and System Architecture
Training Support Packages and Training Devices
